With eco-consciousness growing, the current trends for eco products are post-consumer materials such as recycled plastics and polyester; organic cotton; and reusable pieces such as totes and stainless steel water bottles. Reusable items are a great way to adhere to eco-consciousness while staying within budget. A misconception about eco products is price. With modern technologies, there are many eco products available at the same cost or even less than non-environmentally friendly items.
Although many companies state they provide eco friendly products, some do not have quality documentation to back this up. We need to make sure we don't get “greenwashed” and believe that all eco products are compliant.
